On April 17, 2020, Responsible Energy was issued by Ontario's Ministry of the Environment, Conservation and Parks (MECP) an amended Environmental Compliance Approval (ECA) that enables the processing of industrial liquid wastes and post recycled plastics at our Maitland Facility currently under construction. These new feedstocks are in addition to the already approved Biomass, Biosolids and unsorted MSW granted by the MECP back in 2017.

Plenary sessions take place on Wednesday, October 24th and Thursday October 25th, 2018.
With 6 issued patents under its belt in both Canada and the USA, Responsible Energy began in May expanding its Intellectual Property protection globally. Initial filings included China, India, and South Africa. Also additional patents were filed in Canada and the USA.
